During his career, Scott has been involved with numerous projects encompassing commercial, industrial, retail, office and multi-family housing. He has worked on Sale-leaseback, built-to-suit and has handled all elements of real estate transactions from letter of intent to final lease or sale documents.
Scott’s extensive knowledge in real estate brokerage is drawn from years of experience since his career began in 1992. He is actively involved in helping both local and regional companies, individuals, and investors achieve their real estate needs through his knowledge of the ever changing and challenging real estate landscape. Scott is uniquely qualified to assist with commercial real estate as he has both managed and owned both multifamily and office properties, providing him with a unique insight that helps landlords, tenants and investors understand and overcome challenges.
Scott has extensive experience in remodeling and reusing spaces, he strives to make a property more user-friendly and green. Through a variety of architect, designer, and supplier contacts Scott has established over his career, he is able to assist his clients to realize value and functionality in their real estate. Scott’s experience working with local and national development firms, general contractors, investment groups, real estate firms, architects, engineers, and in the sub-contractor industry, have proven substantially beneficial for his clients. His knowledge covers cost savings, value engineering, in-depth understanding of costing and scheduling to maximize his clients dollar.
Scott attended the University of Utah from 1983 to 1988 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in both Finance and Political Science. After working for a national bank he went back to the University of Utah to earn his Masters of Business with an emphasis on Marketing and Finance. After finishing his MBA he founded Wasatch Business Brokers which handles transactions from $500,000 to $40,000,000 in sales volume. Scott has extensive knowledge in valuation and preparing a business for sale or transitioning to heirs.
Scott is a native of Utah and has a great love and respect for the outdoors. He is an avid skier and was a volunteer ski patroller at Park City Mountain Resort from 2002 – 2017 Scott was voted by his peers Hardest Working Patroller, Most Outstanding Patroller and led his team to be voted Most Outstanding in the volunteer organization. In his spare time he can be found captaining and playing on numerous USTA tennis teams, fly fishing, riding his road bike or just saying yes to other adventures. He is the husband to Heidi Ingham (A top Agent at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services) and three accomplished Children, Hailey, Ryan and Isabella Ingham.
