As a Salt Lake City native, Jordan not only understands Utah’s real estate market but is deeply connected with business and property owners, brokers and agents, and state and city government officials. Jordan grew up in a family whose business endeavors led to Utah’s most notable infrastructures, such as the Salt Lake City Airport, South Towne Expo Center, and the Metro Jail. From a young age, Jordan owned and managed multiple properties himself and this experience solidified his passion for real estate.
Jordan knows that his success in real estate starts with connecting buyers and sellers, negotiating the best deal/price/outcome for his clients, and supporting his client’s businesses after the transaction. By establishing long-term client relationships, he continually helps his clients strategically plan for the future and connects them with other industry professionals who can support their success.
Jordan has prolific experience in multifamily, residential, and commercial real estate, specifically acquisitions, dispositions, development, property management, and investment strategy/planning. His clients include well-seasoned commercial investors to small business owners with little knowledge of the complexities of real estate transactions. Because Jordan is focused on long-term client relationships, he helps his clients from the initial intake to the completion of the construction process. He connects clients with contractors and architects, works with city planners and zoning commissions to achieve permitting and city approval, and has a reputation of working seamlessly with other brokers and agents that often result in off-market transactions.
When Jordan lists a property, his goal is to get it sold. His unique marketing approach includes marketing the design and style of the project through digital media, photography, and social media campaigns that engage a broad audience outside of his network. When Jordan is negotiating, he utilizes tactful and strategic methods that complement his assertive nature; he avoids miscommunication because it can damage high-stake transactions and the goals of his clients. Even his toughest negotiations have resulted in an optimal outcome because he listens, understands, and advocates.
Jordan’s love of Utah goes far beyond ski slopes and the majestic red rock of southern Utah. Jordan’s community involvement contributes to his success in business and building long-term client relationships. In 2012, he was chosen to join “Freedom to Marry,” an organization that launched a nationwide campaign for marriage equality that helped strike down the ban on same-sex marriage. In 2017, Jordan joined Equality Utah, Utah’s premier LGBT legislation and policy advocacy organization, to become their youngest executive board member. He currently serves as the Vice Chair.
Outside of Jordan’s professional life, he spends his free time traveling internationally, enjoying Salt Lake City’s local art scene, and camping in Utah’s National Parks.
